Critic's Comments:

Amazing, it's 11 p.m. and still daylight! is an example of an odd title connected to an energetic Abstract Expressionist work. Looking like they were executed with a house painter's brush from the Fifties, we see what could be sort of an enlarged detail of a piece of de Kooning. Over a dark blue ground, curved strokes of yellow, white, and orange hold sway with a gritty patch of dark brown fastened at the bottom.
